WARSAW: The US crime drama True Crimes directed by Alexandros Avranas will start shooting on 7 November 2015 in Krakow. Opus Film is the Polish co-producer. Jim Carrey and Christopher Waltz star.

WARSAW: Bartosz Prokopowicz's debut feature Chemo is one of two Polish films in the main competition of the 25th Cottbus Film Festival which opened on 3 November 2015.

WARSAW: Body, Małgorzata Szumowska’s 2015 Berlinale Silver Bear winner, will open in Italian cinemas on 5 November 2015 distributed by Cine Club Internazionale.

KRAKOW: A Polish court has decided that the US claim to extradite Roman Polański from Poland is unwarranted. The decision, which is not legally binding, was announced on 30 October 2015. The prosecutor's office can appeal the ruling.

WARSAW: The new Director of Polish Film Institute Magdalena Sroka said that Poland needs film tax incentives and added that she plans to introduce a financial model to encourage business funding for films.

Bromski will be a Member of a special section of the Board devoted to the issues of culture, national identity and history policy.
