COMPETITION FOR THE GOLDEN FROG IN THE CATEGORY OF DOCUMENTARY FILMS
ORGANIZED BY CAMERIMAGE AND DISCOVERY NETWORKS FOR THE FIRST TIME IN THE HISTORY OF THE FESTIVAL

Discovery Networks, a branch of the leader a worldwide market, a media company Discovery Communications, and the International Film Festival of the Art of Cinematography Camerimage are proud to inform that the section of documentary films and the Documentary Films Competition have been established. During this year's edition of the festival which will be held from 29th November till 6th December filmmakers from all over the world will, for the first time in the history of Camerimage, compete for the Golden Frog of the Documentary Competition.

The new section under the name of "Image of the World - World in Images" will comprise of the competition for the best documentary film, special screenings of documentary productions from different parts of the world and also workshops led by the professionals in this field. The organizers will invite world acclaimed producers who will give a series of seminars on creating and producing documentary films. Among the invited guests there will also be experts from programmes broadcasted on channels from Discovery portfolio.
