18 May 2008 By FNE Staff

The independent Hungarian distribution company HungariCom leads off its Marche du Film slate with the Hungarian/U.S. adult animated feature Immigrant.

The L.A. set comedy stars Hank Azaria as one of a pair of Central European immigrants trying to live the American dream. A second animated film, Catcher, is a children's feature and a sequel to the 1986 film Cat City.

HungariCom (www.Hungaricom.com) is also screening three comedies: Panic directed by Atilla Till, Fluke, a satire directed by Tamas Kemenyffy, and the romantic comedy 91 Dates directed by Tamas Sas. Rounding out the line-up are the dramas Virtually a Virgin directed by Peter Bacso, The Sun Street Boys, a Hungarian Revolution set film directed by Gyorgy Szomjas, and Without Mercy directed by Elemer Ragalyi.

For a complete list of films, credits, and  screening schedule, please refer to the HungariCom press release in the Film New Europe Press Releases section.
