PRAGUE: Petr Václav’s The Way Out/Cesta ven won four awards, including Best Feature Film, at the 5th edition of the Czech Critics´ Awards organized by the Czech Critics Association.

WARSAW: Shooting has started for Filip Bajon's new version of the classic Polish comedy Mrs. Dulska's Morality. The premiere is planned for October 2015.

TRIESTE: George Ovashvili's meditative drama Corn Island was awarded Best Film in the feature film competition of the 26th Trieste Film Festival, while the Danish/Polish coproduction Something Better to Come by Hanna Polak was awarded Best Documentary.

VALLETTA: A series entitled Apocalypse Slough, starring Rob Lowe, Jenna Fischer and Megan Mullally, will be partially shot in Malta in the coming months.

WARSAW: With over 40 million tickets sold in 2014 Poland surpassed the results from 2013 by over 4 million. Three Polish titles topped the 2014 chart.

Camp 4SCIENCE is the first international training and co-financing event focused on the development and funding of science documentary films in Central and Eastern Europe. For its 3rd edition, applications can be filed until 20 February 2015.
