The seminar will take place during the Sofia film festival. French, German, Austrian, British, and East European producers are eligible to apply with projects relating to one of the events' five themes: history, science, the environment, politics and society, art and culture, or cinema. Eligible candidates will be in the developmental stage and have the backing of at least one broadcaster or funding body or distributor.

Producers and directors will attend panels on documentary production and distribution and pitch their projects to commissioning editors from across Europe. New projects and young producing/directing teams are especially encouraged to apply.
