The second edition of Industry Days is ready to kick off!

    After a successful first launch last year, the upcoming 24th MFFK Febiofest Bratislava will once again host a second edition of Industry Days 2017 (March 7 - 8), a bright new event dedicated to the promotion of local film production as well as to meetings of Slovak and international film professionals.

    Industry Days 2017 will kick off on Tuesday, 7th March at 10:00 am with the traditional Works in Progress presentation of 11 upcoming Slovak films. The selection consists of features, documentaries, animated films and represents a wide range of production companies from the region. Room will be given also to a short presentation of the international script development program MIDPOINT: Central European Script Center aimed at young film professionals.

    After the presentation, we would like to invite you ALL to the Networking brunch at Café Barzuz, Cinema Lumière at 12:30, to meet Slovak film professionals and international guests and have a friendly chat about your work. Present will be festival representatives from diverse international film festivals, such as Stefan Laudyn from Warsaw FF, Anrei Tanasescu from Toronto IFF, Karel Och from Karlovy Vary IFF, Marge Liiske, managing Director of Baltic Event Co-production Forum at Tallin Black Nights IFF, Evgeny Gusyatinskiy from Rotterdam IFF, Bernd Buder from Berlinale (section Panorama) and Programming Director of Cottbus FF, representatives of international sales companies, international journalists, and many more.

    After Lunch break, the rich Industry programme will continue at 14:30 in Cinema Lumière, K2 Hall, with the discussion panel entitled SLOVAKIA – AUSTRIA: FILM NEIGHBOURS, aimed to examine closer the audiovisual landscape of both countries and discuss potential collaboration for the future.
