    We are now receiving submissions for the 26th Ji.hlava IDFF and look forward to seeing your films. We accept feature-length and short films, animated and interactive documentaries. The films premiered in Jihlava have a chance to be nominated for the European Film Academy Awards and the winners at the Ji.hlava IDFF are also eligible for Oscar® consideration in the Documentary Short Subject and Documentary Feature Subject categories.     CALL FOR EMERGING PRODUCERS 2023

    The EMERGING PRODUCERS workshop, an acclaimed programme focusing on the training and promotion of talented European documentary film producers, is now open for applications. The eleventh edition of the programme will take place on October 24–28, 2022 (Jihlava) and in February 2023 (Berlin).     NEW FILM RELEASES ON DAFILMS

    EAST DOC PLATFORM DRAWING NEAR

    East Doc Platform, organized by the Institute of Documentary Film, will take place in Prague on March 26 – April 1. You can get your Industry Pass for this co-production, funding and distribution platform tailor-made for Central and East European docs until March 13. The open program includes Czech Docs: Coming Soon presentation, the screening of Karel Vachek's Communism and the Net, panel discussion Festivals 2.0: How to Approach the Audience in the Post-covid Era and other events.
