Recently the team of organizers of Plus Camerimage Film Festival has visited the US. The main purpose of the visit was to present the films that had won the 15th edition of the festival. In cooperation with Endeavor Talent Agency, CamTec, Consulate General of the Republic of Poland in Los Angeles and Helena and Stanley Kolodziey, Krol Spirits we organized the presentation of Plus Camerimage 2007 winners.

The screenings for specially invited guests took place in Endeavor Talent Agency in Beverly Hills. On the first day of the presentations two films were showed - I'm Not There, the winner of the Bronze Frog 2007 (cin. Edward Lachman, dir. The movie was introduced by our special guests - Janusz Kamiński (Saving Private Ryan, Schindler's List, Amistad, Minority Report ) and Kathleen Kennedy (producer - Empire of the Sun, Schindler's List, Jurassic Park, War of the Worlds, Sixth Sense ).

We had an honor to host many personalities from the film industry. Among the invited guests were Brett Ratner (director, producer: X-Men: The Last Stand, Red Dragon, Rush Hour), Agnieszka Holland (director: Europa Europa, To Kill a Priest, Secret Garden, Copying Beethoven), Michael Tronick (editor: Scent of a Woman, Meet Joe Black, True Romance, Mr. & Mrs. Smith), Chris Lebenzon (editor: Armageddon, Sleepy Hollow, Pearl Harbor, Planet of the Apes, Sweeney Todd) Elias Merhige (director: Shadow of the Vampire, Suspect Zero, Begotten), Françoise Bonnot (editor: Across the Universe, Frida, Titus) and also many cinematographers, including Adam Greenberg, Daniel Pearl, Suki Mandecevic, Steven Fierberg, Bruce Finn, Jacek Laskus, Gabriel Beristain, Łukasz Bielan, Amy Vincent, John Lindley, Michael Goi, Phedon Papamichael, Karl Walter Lindenlaub, Denis Lenoir, James Chressanthis, Michael Chapman and many others. Such companies as Kodak, Panavision, Finn Light, Luminys, Color by Deluxe and Technicolor were represented at the event and so were the most important branch media - Variety, American Cinematographer and Hollywood Reporter. Also a representative of Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences attended the event.

This year's presentation of the Festival winners in Los Angeles was the first happening of this kind. The feedback we got from our guest proves that it was a successful one, and we hope to make this a regular act of the Plus Camerimage Film Festival.
