FNE at Sarajevo FF 2018: Bulgarian/German/French Coproduction Aga Wins Heart of Sarajevo

    SARAJEVO: Milko Lazarov’s Aga, a last look at the Inuit people living in the beautiful frozen landscape of the Russian republic of Sakha, was awarded Heart of Sarajevo for Best Feature Film at the 24th Sarajevo Film Festival (10-17 August 2018).

    Ioana Uricaru received the Heart of Sarajevo for Best Director for her feature film Lemonade and Nebojša Slijepčević won Heart of Sarajevo for Best Documentary film for Srbenka.

    Director Nuri Bilge Ceylan and Nijaz Hastor received Honorary Hearts of Sarajevo.

    In the CineLink Co-production Market, Safe Place (Croatia) directed by Juraj Lerotić received the Eurimages Co-production Development Award.
