Motive Television Signs Contract with CME

    LONDON: TV software and services company Motive Television (www.motivetelevision.co.uk) has signed a five year contract with Central European Media Enterprises (www.cetv-net.com) subsidiary CET 21 to provide a technology platform for CME's Voyo content platform via digital terrestrial television in the Czech Republic.

    Motive Television CEO Leonard Fertig, a cofounder and former CEO of CME, said in a statement "It is a transforming deal for Motive."

    Motive will provide CME with the Television Anytime Anywhere technoloby platform and will be responsible for its delivery and management. Work on the project is beginning in July 2012, and the launch will take place in early 2013.

    Shares on the London Stock Exchange jumped by 33% at the start of the day, before closing up just 6.78%.
