FESTIVALS: 24th Febiofest Ready to Kick Off in the Czech Republic

    PRAGUE: Ten films are competing in the New Europe main competition of the 24th edition of the Febiofest international film festival, which will take place in Prague from 23 to 31 March 2017.

    Eight titles will compete for the Amnesty International Award.

    Jan Tříska, Abel Ferrara and Peter Suschitzky will receive Kristian Awards for artistic contribution to world cinematography. The guest list of the festival includes Emir Kusturica, Agnieszka Holland and Ulrich Thomsen.

    A total of 155 films from 55 countries will screen in Prague from 23 to 31 March 2017 and afterwards in thirteen Czech towns until the end of April 2017.
