TBILISI: Nino Gogua is currently in production with The Things, a documentary about the relationship between the Georgian refugees of the Russian-Georgian conflict in 2008 and the things they took with them when leaving their homes.

The 60-minute film also follows the way the people and things have shaped each other’s new identities.

Natia Guliashvili is producing through Georgia's CineMark (an independent production company founded in 2012) in coproduction with France's Sister Production. The budget is 60,000 EUR, with 27,000 EUR already in place, Natia Guliashvili told FNE. The Georgian National Film Centre (GNFC) is supporting the project.

The projected participated at Docu Talents from the East at the 50th Karlovy Vary International Film Festival (KVIFF). Gogua's first documentary Madonna premiered at Visions Du Réel International Documentary Film Festival in 2015.

The 40-day shooting is taking place throughout 2015. The film is expected to be finished in July 2016 with the premiere set for September 2016.
