Hungarian-Romanian-Swedish co-production to film in Sweden

    Hungarian director Judit Elek will begin filming her Communist-era co-production Returning Home in Sweden in July.

    The film, which received a 220,000 Euro grant from Eurimages, lined up a Swedish co-production partner during the Cannes film festival, according to Hungarian daily MTI.

    The story of an ethnic Hungarian emigrant living in Sweden will also film in Romania through October, 2009. A release is planned for spring 2010.
