New Hungarian studio awaits April opening

Raleigh film studio executives had a first look at their new HUF17 billion Hungarian film studio located outside Budapest.

According to local reports, the studio executives expect the new facility to function as a hub for European productions.

The new studio consists of nine sound stages, a large backlot, and a full-service lab and postproduction facility. It will also house a college to train film industry workers. 

U.S. based Raleigh Studios (www.raleighstudios.com) built the new facility in partnership with Hungarian based Origo Film Group.
