| SPI signs Hungarian cable deal |

A distribution agreement has been concluded between the film channel operator SPI International and the television channel distribution company Tematik Kábel.
The distribution agreement includes the currently available channels FilmBox Extra, FilmBox HD and FilmBox Family, as well as the fully Hungarian dubbed FilmBox and FilmBox Plus channels, available as of Septmeber 2010. "I am glad that we can extend our portfolio with film contents and it is an extra pleasure that most channels are from the premium segment. SPI has made a very good decision that with the two new channels as they aim to serve larger audience," said Radu Morar, owner of Tematik Kábel. "It is our hope that the distribution of FilmBox channels are in experts' hands in Hungary too and I am pretty sure that the professional team of Tematik Kábel will help to achieve our targets," said Piotr Reisch, regional director of SPI International. |
