Surguta brings a solid background to the new position. She was financial director of Korda Studio and MAFILM, and deputy managing director of Hungarian National Film Office.

Vajda previously worked for the second biggest Hungarian TV channel TV2.

With the new appointments, Budapest Film wants to strength its position as market leader in arthouse film distributor and cinema operator, as well as improve its MEDIA supported VOD-platfrom Filmklikk (www.filmklikk.hu). Budapest Film sold a 51% share Company Consulting & Licensing AG in January.
