Vilma Marciuleviciute will head the Viasat digital satellite operations in the Baltics.
The appointment was reported in local media as well as World Screen News. The Viasat DTH satellite platform operates in Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania, and has a joint venture in the Ukraine. Marciuleviciute was previously CEO of TV3 in Lithuania.
Viasat is owned by Modern Times Group, which operates 15 emerging market stations located in the Baltics, Russia, Hungary, Czech Republic, Bulgaria, and Slovenia.
