| New Malta Film Fund announced |

| Malta has launched a new film fund of 233,000 Euros for audiovisual works produced by Maltese registered companies. The Film Fund Support Scheme, administered by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Youth and Sport will provide funds for documentaries and short films. According to the Malta Independent, an informational session will be held on August 20, and deadline for applying for funding is October 24. | |
