The novel written by Arkady Fiedler, which centers on the lives of Polish air pilots taking part in the Battle of Britain during WWII, has been translated into several languages.

The Polish producer is Film Media (www.filmmedia.com.pl), headed by Jacek Samojłowicz.

The producer told FNE that the project is in an intense pre-production stage and that the company is looking for foreign co-producers and the needed documentation in order to launch his year and finish by the end of 2013.

The planned budget of the production is 20-30 million PLN. Skolimowski might also direct. Several leading Polish actors have expressed interest in the project, including Borys Szyc , Bogusław Linda , Piotr Adamczyk and Michał Żebrowski.
