Eccentrics is an adaptation of a novel written by Włodzimierz Kowalewski, that follows the enticing world of espionage and jazz in the 50's. Kowalewski wrote the script and Janusz Majewski will start shooting on 17 March 2015 in Konstancin. Maciej Stuhr is cast as the lead jazzman Fabian and he will be joined by Sonia Bohosiewicz and Joanna Kulig.

Producer WFDiF informed FNE that the movie will be made with a planned budget of 7m PLN. The project already received 3m PLN of production financing from the Polish Film Institute. The DoP for this picture is Adam Bajerski, Polish jazzman Wojciech Karolak will manage the music score and Andrzej Haliński is the set designer.
