WARSAW: Beata Ryczkowska has been named the new Programming Director for Stopklatka TV

Her predecessor Wawrzyniec Brach will be the new Content Manager for Filmbox International Ltd owned by Kino Polska TV Group. He will coordinate the programming of FilmBox film channels in Poland and abroad.

Ryczkowska was the Programme Director for CANAL+ and the CYFRA+ Platform in 2002-2012. She was a part of the team that created premium channels CANAL+, CANAL+ Film and CANAL+ Plus in Poland. She also co-created and supervised the strategy of development for thematic channels such as ale kino+, Planete+, TeleToon, MiniMini+, kuchnia+ and DOMO+. Ryczkowska is also a long-time member of the Polish Film Academy and co-producer of several Polish films and TV series.

"Stopklatka TV is a very familiar environment for me but also an interesting new field. On the one hand, I’ve been programming film oriented channels for years, and on the other hand we are talking about a first channel of this kind. We have a very broad reach, but we need to face a very rich programme offer from all of the stations,” Ryczkowska told FNE.

In the first half of 2015, Stopklatka TV held 0.86% of the total television market in Poland.
