The contract signed on 3 October 2015 is a complex exclusive deal granting TVN Free TV and Basic Superscription broadcasting rights as well as Catch-up and SVOD online rights for Disney's films and shows.

"The extent of this contract reaches far beyond the standard broadcasting rights contracts and this falls perfectly into TVN's strategy. We aim to constantly raise the bar for all the players on the television and online broadcasting market, and this contract allows TVN to gain in both areas" Piotr Koryncki, TVN S.A. Board Member, told FNE.

The contract includes blockbuster titles like the animated Disney-Pixar coproduction Inside Out, Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy and the upcoming new episode of Star Wars produced by Disney. TVN can also broadcast popular series produced by ABC Studios like Wicked City or The Catch, which will be available to the Polish audience right after their US premiere.
