FNE at CentEast: Poland's Last Family Sold in Hungary

WARSAW: The Last Family by Jan P. Matuszyński was sold in Hungary, where it will be distributed by Mozinet. The film was showcased during Warsaw Screenings at the 12th edition of CentEast Market Warsaw, which took place within the 32nd Warsaw Film Festival from 14 to 16 October 2016.

Previously, New Europe Film Sales sold the film in Sweden, where it will be distributed by Folkets Bio.

Jan P. Matuszyński’s debut feature about the life of painter Zdzisław Beksiński won Best Film award at Gdynia Film Festival and also Best Actor award at Locarno IFF. The film was produced by Aurum Film in coproduction with HBO Polska and Lightcraft, with the support from the Polish Film Institute and the Mazovia Film Fund.

The Last Family was released in Poland by Kino Świat on 30 September 2016 and had 210,000 admissions during the first week.
