FESTIVALS: Four Polish Projects Pitch at American Film Festival

    WROCLAW: Four Polish projects have been selected to pitch at the 7th edition of US in Progress, which runs 25 - 27 October 2017, as a part of the 8th American Film Festival in Wroclaw, running through 29 October.

    The films are part of the first edition of Polish-American Co-production Meetings, a networking opportunity for Polish producers seeking partners from the US. Panelists will include producers and publicists working in the US or in collaboration with the US and aiming to foster transatlantic projects.

    The main panel will be on the topic European Co-Production with America – Struggles & Success Stories, moderated by Ania E. Dziedzic from Film Commission Poland.

    The four selected Polish producers and projects are: Neon Tears by Karolina Bielawska (Munk Studio – Polish Filmmakers Association); Pilot 9/11 by Norman Leto (Lightcraft); A Film Odyssey by Piotr Stasik (Telemark) and Lipstick on the Glass by Kuba Czekaj (Centrala Film, Indu Film).

    At one on one meetings Polish producers will have a chance to personally meet with American experts and present their ideas for Polish/American coproductions.
