Filmbox is a basic cable channel with 5.2 million households in Poland and is operated by SPI International, a film and television content provider operating in the area of theatrical, DVD and VOD distribution as well as production and distribution of pay TV channels across Central Europe.

I the first three quarters of 2011, Filmbox saw 94% share increase among the four Polish film channels, and 45.1% growth rate  in the 16-49 age group. 

Filmbox also operates in the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary and Romania along with its brand channels including Filmbox HD, Filmbox Family, Filmbox Extra, Filmbox Extra 1 and Filmbox Plus.
