Integration Trip Tops Polish Box Office
16 November 2011 By Katarzyna Grynienko
WARSAW: The Polish comedy Integration Trip, which opened on 4 November 2011, recorded the best 2011 domestic opening weekend at the Polish box office  with 277,451 viewers.

Integration Trip takes a comic look at the wild side of corporate company life. Employees of a Polish company go away for a weekend at a luxurious hotel to seemingly strengthen their work bonds. When the president of the company is accidentally forced to share a room with a gorgeous model and an ambitious journalist looking for a sccop, a series comical events starts.

The film surpassed the previous box office champ, Oh, Karol 2, which had 265,567 admissions during its opening weekend. The Polish comedy had also defeated Steven Spielberg's Adventures of Tin Tin, opening in Polish cinemas on the same date.

The film, directed by Przemysław Angerman, has a cast of Polish stars including Tomasz Kot, Jan Frycz, Tomasz Karolak, Katarzyna Glinka and Katarzyna Figura. Polish critics called the production "cheap and scandalous."

Integration Trip was produced by Kino Świat (www.kinoswiat.pl) and Filmcontract Ltd (www.filmcontract.pl). The comedy was shot in October 2010 on location in Rawa Mazowiecka. The film is distributed by Kino Świat.
