Poland's Vivarto picks up Sundance's Peepli

Polish distributor Vivarto has acquired indian film Peepli Live following its successful debut at the Sundance film festival.

Vivarto (www.vivarto.pl) will distribute the film on as many as ten prints and has also acquired home video and TV rights. Vivarto has distributed over 100 films since 2005, primarily art house and independent features. Recent acquisitions include Sundance winner Winter's Bone and Mine Vaganti by Ferzan Ozpetek

 Justyna Troszczyńska from Vivarto commented, "PEEPLI LIVE is a truly emotional film and it starts our trip with Indian movies that will open new horizons and develop our company to proceed with many more."

Peepli Live is the feature debut from director  Anusha Rizvi.
