ScriptEast Celebrates 10th Anniversary in Berlin

    Eleven Projects from 7 Centreal and Eastern European countries have been developed with the X edition of ScripTeast.

    Venice, Rusudan Chkonia (Georgia)
    When the Trees are Falling, Marysia Nikitiuk (Ukraine)

    Amongst the 11 projects, a variety of genres are presented. For the past few months, the authors have been working very hard to develop their stories with acclaimed Creative Advisors:

    Our next session will be at Cannes Film Festival, so if you miss the opportunity to meet the writers during Berlinale - see you in Cannes! ScripTeast is one of the best of training programmes, with 17 films produced after 9 editions. It is addressed to the best scriptwriters from Eastern and Central Europe. The aim is to help the writers strengthen their scripts, make it interesting for a wide international audience, and enhance competition of the best written scripts.

    ScripTeast is organized by the Independent Film Foundation co-funded by Creative Europe - MEDIA Sub-Programme of the EU, National Centre for Culture, Polish Film Institute, Mazovia Warsaw Film Commission, Apple Film Production in co-operation with the European Film Academy, Producers Network, European Producers Club, ACE – Atelier du Cinema Europeen and Film New Europe.
