FNE at Cottbus Film Festival 2016: Czech Republic Joins U18 Youth Film Competition

    COTTBUS: The 26th Film Festival Cottbus has expanded the U18 Youth Film Competition to include films from the Czech Republic along with Germany and Poland. Five feature films and three short films for youth will compete in the section.

    A jury of six Polish, German and Czech pupils from Zielona Góra, Cottbus and Teplice in North Bohemia will select the winner of the Best Youth Film, which comes with a prize of 3,000 EUR. The festival will also be attended by 50 students representing these three cities, who will participate in a series of discussions with the filmmakers.
