Six Documentaries from CEE Countries Nominated for EFA Awards

    SEVILLE: Six documentaries from CEE countries are among the 15 European documentaries recommended for a nomination for the European Film Awards 2018. The EFA Awards ceremony will be held in Seville, Spain on 15 December 2018.

    Ten documentary festivals, including the Ji.hlava International Documentary Film Festival and the Krakow Film Festival, have suggested one film each. Based on their recommendations and films individually submitted, the documentary committee, consisting of EFA Board Member Ira von Gienanth (Germany), festival programmers Marek Hovorka (Czech Republic) and Elena Subirà i Roca (Spain), producer Nik Powell (UK) and commissioning editor Sari Volanen (Finland), decided on the selection.
