The film was produced by Sisters and Brother Mitevski, coproduced by Spiritus movens, Entre Chien et Loup, Vertigo, Deuxième Ligne Films, EZ Films, and supported by the Slovenian Film Centre, the Croatian Audiovisual Centre, the North Macedonian Film Agency, Viba Film, MEDIA and Eurimages. It has been picking up prizes at international film festivals, most recently winning the first Arab Critics’ Award for European Films.  

The gathering was also used to highlight the protest by Croatian filmmakers against the public service broadcaster in Croatia for failing to fulfil its obligations regarding the promotion of European works and particularly the best of recent independent Croatian documentary production. FERA (the Federation of European Film Directors) has issued a statement of support for Croatian filmmakers.
