Polish, Slovenian films to screen at Locarno |

Malgoska Szumowska's 33 Scenes from Life will compete in the international competition at the 61st Locarno film festival, running august 6-16.
Slovenian director Jan Cvitkovic's short I Know will screen in the Piazza Grande section. Latvia's Laila Pakalnina will compete in the Filmmakers of the Present competition. Other films to be screened in the international competition include Nowhere Promised Land, a French film with Hungarian and Turkish co-production, and two Turkish films: Ozcan Alper's Autumn and The Market - A Tale of Trade directed by Ben Hopkins. |
