The only professional actor in the cast is Toma Cuzin. Amateur actors Adrian Purcărescu and Cornel Cozmei were chosen after a three-month casting. Tudor Mircea is the DoP.

Marcela Ursu is producing through Romania's 42 Km Film in coproduction with France's Les Films de Worso and Rouge International. "70% of the budget is already in place", Ursu told FNE. The project is supported by the Romanian National Film Center, HBO Romania and Arte France.

The film will be shot entirely on location in the Teleorman county and Bucharest until 15 November. The premiere is set for 2015.
