New multiplexes will be opened next in Deva, Turnu-Severin, Suceava and Timisoara (where Cinema City will soon open its third 4DX cinema). The first 4DX was opened successfully by Cinema City in Romania in Mega Mall Bucharest on 19 May 2015.
The City Park Mall Constanta multiplex has10 fully equipped digital screens with 1,687 including 144 seats in the 4DX cinema. Cinema City is consolidating its position as a leader in Romania in terms of number of screens, admissions and technology. Cinema City has 178 screens and 34,136 seats throughout Romania. Cinema City is part of Cineworld Group, the second largest cinema operator in Europe.
