Eleven Projects Selected for Transilvania Pitch Stop

    CLUJ-NAPOCA: Eleven projects from Bulgaria, Georgia, Greece, Romania, Russia, Serbia and Turkey have been selected for the coproduction platform Transilvania Pitch Stop (TPS), which will take place during the Transilvania International Film Festival (TIFF) on 9-10 June 2017.

    The eleven projects chosen from among more than 60 submissions are from first time and sophomore directors. This is the first time Transilvania Pitch Stop is open to the region (Romania, Moldova, Hungary, Bulgaria, Serbia, Ukraine, Russia, Greece, Turkey and Georgia).

    Also starting this year, an Eurimages Coproduction Development Award (20,000 EUR) will be awarded at TPS together with postproduction services offered by Chainsaw Europe (30,000 EUR) and a prize awarded by the Romanian Film Centre and DACIN-SARA (5,000 EUR).

    Six projects coming from first and second time filmmakers from Romania and Moldova will participate in a development workshop from 5 to 8 June 2017.
