William & Kate: A Royal Love Story is produced by Motion Picture Corporation of America (MPCA, www.mpcafilm.com) for the Hallmark channel (www.hallmarkchannel.tv). The film will be directed by Linda Yellen who made The Royal Romance of Charles and Diana for CBS in 1982.

Dan Amboyer will play Prince William, Alice St.Clair portrays Kate Middleton and Jane Alexander (Kramer vs Kramer, All the President's Men) is the latest actress to take on the role of Queen Elizabeth. The love story begins with the university years of William and Kate and will finish with the wedding arrangements.

MediaPro Studios is providing facilities. This is the third project that MPCA is shooting at MediaPro Studios, following The Weaponand Christmas at Castlebury Hall. The world premiere is scheduled for August 2011, one week before the 14th anniversary of Princess Diana's death.
