Romania's Digital Law Awaits Approval

    BUCHAREST: The Romanian law on the switch to digital broadcasting is now awaiting approval of the state ministries, according to local reports.

    The country wil cease analog broadcasts in 2013.

    According to the Ministry of Communications, the approval is at least two months away. Industry professionals say it is hard to estimate exactly when the law will be approved.
