BUCHAREST: MediaPro Studios is expecting another production from US blockbuster The Devil Inside trio Paulson, Brent, Peterman to shoot in Romania in spring.

Andreea Stănculeanu, COO MediaPro Studios  said:  „After the successful colaboration with the trio of Morris Paulson (producer and financer), William Brent (writer and director) and Matt Peterman (writer and creative producer) MediaPro is expecting them with another production this spring."

Stănculeanu's comment cam as the American supernatural thriller shot in Romania tops the American weekend box office, followed by Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol and Sherlock Holmes 2.

 

After its first weekend, January 6-8, The Devil Inside got $33,732,515 gross, while Mission: Impossible 4 had $19,868,059 gros. The Devil Inside was initially a production of LA based Unclean llc, and was shot mostly in Romania at the end of 2009. Paramount Insurge took over and in October 2011 the last scenes were shot at the MediaPro Studios (www.mediaprostudios.com ), near Bucharest. The total budget was under $1 million. The main characters are played by foreign actors, but the Romanian Ionuţ Grama has a significant part. MediaPro Studios was providing services.
