FESTIVALS: Toni Erdmann Wins European Film Festival Palić

    PALIĆ: German/Austrian/Romanian coproduction Toni Erdmann by Maren Ade was awarded Golden Tower for Best Film in the International Competition of the 23rd European Film Festival Palić, Serbia (16-22 July 2016).

    In the same programme Cristian Mungiu was awarded Best Director for Graduation / Bacalaureat. Fourteen films have competed in the International Competition.

    The international jury was composed of: Yesim Ustaoglu, Stefan Arsenijević, Riina Sildos, Michaela Kezele and Aistė Diržiūtė.

    Ten films were competing in the competitive section Parallels and Encounters, dedicated to feature films and documentaries from Eastern Europe and five in the recently established programme Eye to Eye whose jury was composed of: Lara Majkić, Sara Simović, Pavle Menalo, Saša Papić and Viktor Pasterko.
