PRODUCTION: Russian/Serbian Coproduction Hotel Belgrade Starts Shooting in Belgrade

    BELGRADE: The Russian/Serbian feature film Hotel Belgrade / Hotel Beograd directed by Konstantin Statskiy started shooting in the capital city of Serbia. This rom-com  is a sequel to the popular Russian TV series The Kitchen and Hotel Eleon, screened in more than 20 countries.

    The complicated romantic relationship between Pasha and Dasha remains the focus of the story, with a fresh spell of intrigues coming along with new characters. The key roles are played by Miloš Biković, lately seen in blockbusters South Wind / Južni vetar by Miloš Avramović and The Balkan Line / Balkanska međa by Andrey Volgin, and by Diana Pozharskaya. Jelisaveta Teodosić, Ljubomir Bandović, Srđan Žika Todorović, Jelisaveta Seka Sablić and Miodrag Radonjić are co-starring.

    The film is produced by Russia’s Black and White Production in coproduction with Serbia’s Archangel Studios. The Serbian producers are: Miloš Biković, Miodrag Radonjić and Tatjana Žeželj Gojković. The project is supported by Serbia’s Telekom.

    The shooting started last week and is scheduled to wrap by the end of October 2019.  

    Theatrical distribution is set for 2020.
