FESTIVALS: Festival of Slovenian Film in Portorož 2018 Announces Lineup

    PORTOROŽ: Sixteen feature films including eight documentaries will be screened in the competition of the 21st Festival of Slovenian Film in Portorož, which will run from 10 to 15 September 2018. The Badjura Lifetime Achievement Award will go to the film director Tugo Štiglic.

    A total of 93 out of 154 submitted films have been selected (a few less than in 2017) and 51 films (16 feature films, six medium-length films, 17 short films, 10 student films and three minority co-productions) will compete for the Vesna awards.

    Most of the competition feature films will be released in Slovenian cinemas in the next few months.
