Twelve European films competed for the Jury Prize and the Audience Award.

In a very close competition, The Counterfeiters by Austrian director Stefan Ruzowitzky won the Audience award, with just a 1% advantage over the Italian runnerup Piano directed by Riccardo Milani followed by the Turkish film My Father and My Son directed by Cagan Irmak.

The festival screening marked the Slovenian premiere of The Counterfeiters, which goes on to screen in cinemas following the festival. The festival, organized by the cultural branches of Ljubljana embassies, was attended by 1630 viewers.
