FESTIVALS: Malatya Announces Turkish Competition Films

    MALATYA: Twelve films have been selected for the Turkish National Film Competition at the Malatya International Film Festival, which runs 11-15 November 2017.

    The festival is organised under the leadership of festival director Suat Kocer, co-director Dilek Karatas and programme director Alin Tasciyan.

    The festival also hosts a competition for Turkish short films, as well as international competitions for both feature films and short films.

    This year the festival launches a film platform with six films vying for production support and another six projects vying for a pre-production support award.

    The 12 films in the national competition are:
