Strawberry Wine goes to Haifa

    POLISH - SLOVAC COPRODUCTION „WINO TRUSKAWKOWE / STRAWBERRY WINE" AT INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL IN HAIFA

    AN AWARD AT 16th Film Summer at Trzyniec

    „WINO TRUSKAWKOWE / STRAWBERRY WINE" directed by Dariusz Jabłoński will be shown at starting today, 14th of October, international Film Festival in Haifa. The Film will be shown together with other Polish films: "Benek" dir. Robert Gliński, "Sztuczki / Tricks" dir. Andrzej Jakimowski and "Katyń" dir. Andrzej Wajda.


    Organized since 1983, festival in Haifa, is the oldest event of this type in Izrael. It attracts about 60,000 spectators each year . During the eight days of the festival, in seven screening rooms as well as outdoors, there is presented over 200 films from all around the world and in all kinds: feature movies, documents, animations and shorts.


    „Wino Truskawkowe / Strawberry Wine" have been shown at almost twenty festivals nationally and internationally f.ex. at festivals in Mannheim, London, Chicago, Prague, Warsaw Film Festival, Era New Horizons in Wroclaw. The Film got three awards at Wrzesnia Film Festival and twice at „Young & Film" Festival in Koszalin. At finished on Sunday 16th Film Summer Festival at Trzyniec in Czech Republic, the film got another award - an Award of Audience.

    „Wino Truskawkowe/Strawberry Wine" is based on tales „Galician tales" by Andrzej Stasiuk.

    POLSKO-SŁOWACKA KOPRODUKCJA „WINO TRUSKAWKOWE" NA MIĘDZYNARODOWYM FESTIWALU FILMOWYM W HAIFIE

    NAGRODA DLA FILMU NA 16. Trzynieckim Babim Lacie Filmowym w Trzyńcu

    „WINO TRUSKAWKOWE" w reżyserii Dariusza Jabłońskiego będzie prezentowane na rozpoczynającym się dzisiaj, 14 października, międzynarodowym festiwalu filmowym w Haifie. Film będzie prezentowany razem z innymi polskimi filmami: „Benek" Roberta Glińskiego, „Sztuczki" Andrzeja Jakimowskiego oraz „Katyń" Andrzeja Wajdy.

    Organizowany od 1983 roku festiwal w Haifie jest najstarszą tego typu imprezą w Izraelu. Każdego roku przyciąga około 60 tysięcy widzów. W ciągu ośmiu dni, w siedmiu salach kinowych i na wolnym powietrzu prezentowanych jest ponad 200 filmów z całego świata: fabularnych, dokumentalnych, animowanych i krótkometrażowych.

    „Wino truskawkowe" było prezentowane na blisko 20 festiwalach w kraju i za granicą, m.in. na festiwalu w Mannheim, Londynie, Chicago, Pradze, Warszawskim Festiwalu Filmowym, Era Nowe Horyzonty we Wrocławiu. Film został nagrodzony m.in. trzema nagrodami na festiwalu filmowym we Wrześni oraz dwukrotnie na festiwalu „Młodzi i Film" w Koszalinie. Na zakończonym w niedzielę 16. Trzynieckim Babim Lacie Filmowym w Trzyńcu w Czechach film otrzymał kolejną nagrodę, Nagrodę Publiczności.

    „Wino truskawkowe" powstało na podstawie opowiadań „Opowieści galicyjskie" Andrzeja Stasiuka.
