FNE spoke to Georgian producer Vladimir Katcharava who heads the Tbilisi based production outfit 20 Steps about shooting films in Georgia and his work as a coproducer on Mohsen Makhmalbaf’s new film The President which shot on location in Georgia with Georgian actors.

PRAGUE: Shooting of Danish feature Tordenskiold, which started on Czech locations 13 October 2014, is scheduled to wrap 18 November.

Gods Tops One Million Admissions

WARSAW: Gods, the winner of the 39th Gdynia Film Festival has racked up 1.149 m admissions within three weeks since its premiere.

ZAGREB: The Macedonian-Croatian-Finnish coproduction The Liberation of Skopje, the first feature directed by the Croatian-born Hollywood star Rade Šerbedžija (Mission Impossible II, Eyes Wide Shut, Before the Rain), started principal photography in Veles, Macedonia on 31 October 2014. Šerbedžija is also starring.

BRATISLAVA: A Czech film and a Slovak-Czech coproduction are among the films screening in the 16th Bratislava IFF competition of first and second films.
