Turkey Gives Grants to 29 Films

ISTANBUL: The Turkish Ministry of Culture has awarded 6.45 million TL (just over $4 million) in grants to 29 films and directors with film projects.

Thirteen debut film directors received grants, Five of the films received postproduction grants. The remaining 11 grants went to films in production. 

Grants for films in production were in the range of 200,000 - 300,000 TL.  Postproduction grants were for 70,000 TL each.
