BELGRADE: The premiere of the Serbian comedy Weekend With Pop / Vikend sa ćaletom, scripted and directed by Miroslav Momčilović and supported by Film Center Serbia, soared to the top of the local box office. Cinemas in Serbia remain open, following the prescribed operating regulations and restrictions.

BELGRADE: Cinemas in Serbia officially re-opened on September 3 and there already is a slight increase in admissions in comparison with the results in the first ten days of the month. The total admissions number for the period of 10-16 September is 32,463, as compared to 27,775 from 3 September to 10 September.

BELGRADE: The production of the Serbian romantic melodrama Once Upon a Time in Serbia / Bilo jednom u Srbiji started in the Serbian town of Leskovac on 3 September 2020. The film, supported by Film Center Serbia, is the sophomore feature of Petar Ristovski, who helmed the 2018 cinema hit King Petar / Kralj Petar Prvi.
