BELGRADE: Dušan Milić’s latest feature film Darkling, winner of the Audience Award at the 2022 Trieste Film Festival, will be released by Lo Scrittoio in cinemas in 16 Italian towns in the next two weeks. The film is a Serbian/Bulgarian/Danish/Italian/Greek coproduction.

BELGRADE: Dean Devlin's new space-themed TV show The Ark has officially begun production with its main cast. The principal photography is taking place at the PFI Studios in Belgrade.

ZAGREB: Serbian minority coproduction The Dam / Le Barrage directed by Lebanese director Ali Cherri will have its world premiere in the Cannes Directors’ Fortnight. The film has been supported by Film Center Serbia and the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Serbia, and it is a coproduction between France, Sudan, Germany and Serbia.

BELGRADE: Serbian director Ivan Jović is currently in postproduction with his sophomore feature Shadow of the Mediterranean / Senoviti Mediteran, a Serbian/Greek coproduction shot both in Serbia and Greece by Slovenian DoP Simon Tanšek.

BELGRADE: The first edition of the International Female Film Festival Petra will take place at The Cultural Centre of Belgrade Movie Theatre from 8 to 11 December 2022. The festival will celebrate women’s filmmaking, women authors and films exploring women’s topics.

BELGRADE: The Serbian animated series Puffins Impossible, starring Johnny Depp, is now available on the streaming platforms Apple TV, Amazon Prime and Google Play.

BELGRADE: Serbian director Nedljko Kovačić is currently in production with his debut feature, a spy thriller melodrama titled Vera. The key role is played by Jovana Stojiljković, the most sought after Serbian and regional actress of younger generations at the moment. A TV series of 10 one-hour episodes is simultaneously being shot, supported by the Radio Television of Serbia (RTS).

BELGRADE: The acclaimed Serbian director Goran Radovanović is currently filming his new feature Erlking / Bauk, which is a coproduction between Serbia, Bulgaria and Russia, set in Serbia in 1999.

BELGRADE: Young Serbian film director Luka Mihailović has just wrapped up the shooting of his debut feature, the urban crime drama Indigo Crystal / Indigo Kristal, in his hometown of Šabac.

BELGRADE: Serbian director Mladen Đorđević has entered postproduction with his feature film Labour Day / Prvi maj, which is a coproduction between Serbia, Bulgaria, Croatia, Greece, Montenegro and Romania.
