VILNIUS: The Generation of Evil / Piktųjų karta directed by Emilis Vėlyvis has reached 1,001,225 EUR gross and 143,702 admissions in Lithuania.

VILNIUS: Lithuanian sci-fi drama Vesper by Lithuanian director Kristina Buožytė and French director Bruno Samper is available on Netflix in the UK and Ireland.

VILNIUS: General admissions have soared from 1,337,598 in 2021 to 2,993,864 in 2022, and the total gross rose from 7,754,385 EUR in 2021 to 18,103,404 EUR in 2022, according to the Lithuanian Film Centre (LKC).

VILNIUS: Lithuanian/ American filmmaker Tomas Vengris is currently in postproduction with his sophomore feature Five and a Half Love Stories in an Apartment in Vilnius / Penkios su puse meilės istorijos, nutikusios viename Vilniaus bute, which is estimated to be released in 2023. The film is a Lithuanian/Irish/Latvian coproduction.

VILNIUS: The Generation of Evil / Piktųjų karta directed by Emilis Vėlyvis is a domestic success in Lithuania with 125,419 admissions and 882,589 EUR gross after six weeks in cinemas. The film released on 14 October 2022 topped the chart in its first four weeks of distribution and was second in the following two weeks.

VILNIUS: Lithuanian director Ignas Jonynas is currently filming his third feature film Border Wall / Siena, which is supported by the Lithuanian Film Centre.

VILNIUS: Lithuanian writer/director Eglė Vertelytė started shooting her sophomore feature after her successful debut with Miracle / Stebuklas (2018). The comedy drama Tasty / Gardutė has already been acquired by the London-based sales agent Film Republic.

VILNIUS: Film director Lina Lūžytė and philosopher & film director Nerijus Milerius make their debut as a directors duo with feature drama Jōhatsu, which is currently shooting as a Lithuanian/Latvian/French coproduction. Uljana Kim is producing.

VILNIUS. Lithuanian director Ignas Miškinis is in production with his coming-of-age drama Southern Chronicles / Pietinia kronikas. The film is produced by Lukas Trimonis through IN SCRIPT with support from the Lithuanian Film Centre and the national broadcaster LRT.

VILNIUS. The war drama The Flood Won’t Come / Tvano nebus directed by Marat Sargsyan will be released in Lithuania by CinemaAds on 19 August 2022. The film was produced by Ieva Norvilienė through Tremora and it was supported by the Lithuanian Film Centre.
