MINISTRY OF EDUCATION AND CULTURE
Ministry’s priorities in the field of Cinema are cinematographic production, education and professional training. Through the “Program for the Development of Cyprus Cinema” the Ministry finances international co-productions, high and low budget feature films, short films, documentaries, animation, experimental films, as well as the local distribution and circulation of Cypriot films in Cinema – Theatres. The Ministry of Education and Culture is also responsible for bilateral agreements and the promotion of Cyprus as a filmmaking destination location.
